Resolute.

Turns out Oh-Eight ain't now different. Whoops. I've got some paintings I'm almost finished with and once they're scanned I'll post them.

I'm failing at updating regularly. OH-EIGHT will be different.

Haven't posted anything in a while because I haven't worked on anything in a while. I did start a drawing class last week though. Two students right now. They seemed to enjoy the drawing lecture and the demo I gave on the copying procedure, at least they're coming back tonight. I'm looking forward to when I could possibly teach or paint year-round. Yesterday was a very bad day to be an exterior finish craftsmen in the Palouse, but it was a good experience.

Lazy Sunday, throwing a twist in the ink paintings. I'm heightening with gouache and working on postal paper. I want to make a bigger piece of Christ feeding the five-thousand, then I could sell it for cash money.

Here's some stuff I've been playing with recently. Just a paintbrush and ink. I'm having difficulty with the line quality, it's hard to manipulate the weight. It's fun though. We'll decorate our room with these messes.

Working on some Bible illustrations in a reverse Rembrandt manner. It's reverse due to the fact that I'm drawing the shadows instead of drawing the light, it's similar to Rembrandt because of the scale and size of the tools.

I want to be an artist. I want to make a living as an artist. I am employed by a small construction company, we mostly side houses. My hands are tough and scarred from hammers and nails, but they can be delicate with a pencil, pen, or paintbrush. I want to make you see things, I want to make things you can see.
